蜜汁烤鸡 Honey Soy Chicken

Honey Soy Chicken


Ingredients (A):

Soy sauce
Oyster sauce
Five spice powder
Chilli flake
S&B Japanese chilli pepper
Teriyaki sauce
Sesame oil

Other ingredients:

2 Chicken maryland (thigh and leg)


1. Marinate chicken maryland with ingredients (A). Leave in the fridge for at least 24 hours to absorb flavour.
2. Preheat oven to 200C. Meanwhile, prepare a baking tray lined with aluminium foil. Base the tray with a thin layer of oil.
3. Place marinated chicken maryland on the tray.
4. Brush the chicken surface with the remaining sauce. Do not discard the marinate sauce.
5. Bake chicken at 200C for 30 minutes. Repeat Step 4 every 10 minutes of baking to ensure consistency in colour and flavour.
6. After 30 minutes, switch oven to grill mode. Grill chicken for another 10 minutes to char the surface slightly.
7. Serve chicken on a plate. Scoop the remaining sauce on the tray into a small bowl to serve on the rice while eating.
